There are more conventional freelance writing opportunities, such as writing for newspapers or journals, but the web options are limitless.

One of the most winsome aspects of freelance writing is that you may get started practically instantly.

This is especially true if you’re a skilled writer.

Using the internet to look for freelance writing jobs is simple.

You can also sign up for one of these websites, and you’ll be presenting your services in front of potential customers in minutes:

1- Flexjobs

2- Fiverr

3- Pro Blogger Job Board

4- Upwork

Fiverr and Flexjobs are probably the easiest to get started with.

However, they take a share of your earnings, so make sure your services are priced suitably to offset this.

You’ll need to be a reasonably skilled writer to gain work on the Pro Blogger job board.

Still, finding more specialized and high-paying writing projects is a great way.

This prospect appeals to me since you don’t have to be the best writer to be successful.

Many people believe that to succeed, you must be a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

You should still be able to find work if you can write to a decent standard.

The more you write, the better you will become, allowing you to improve your talents and revenue eventually.

Like most things, your earnings will be determined by your experience level and the number of clients you attract.

In the past, I’ve hired freelance writers and paid them between $30 and $70 for every 1000 words.

However, you can charge much more if you’re writing about a highly specialized subject.

With experience, you may earn up to over $300 daily.

For example, someone searching for information on pet snakes on a snake-related website might use Google.

Hopefully, when that individual looks for answers to those questions, they will find your website.

Ideally, your website should have an article you wrote in response to their queries.

The goal is to get many people to read your posts, which you can monetize.

The trick is to build a content encyclopedia in which you become the definitive authority on your chosen topic.

The formula is straightforward:

1. Launch your website.
2. Publish high-quality articles answering your audience’s questions.
3. Work to gain traffic from search engines.
4. Profit off that traffic.

Display ads and affiliate marketing are two of my favorite ways to make money with specialty blogs.

a- Displaying ads

When you utilize display advertisem*nts, a business like Ezoic or Mediavine (I currently use both on our sites) places ads on your website.

This approach of monetization appeals to me because it is passive.

You generate the content, attract readers, and then sit back and wait for the ad revenue to come in.

b- Affiliate Marketing

Plus, if photography is your hobby, this is an excellent opportunity to have fun while still earning money.

Sell your stuff.

My wife would tell you that selling stuff is my favorite side hustle.

And… she’d be right!

You can sell your used items online in the same way that you would at a garage sale.
