The Eastman AC122-1CE Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar exemplifies the company's fastidious player-friendly approach, boasting an all-solid wood construction — a rare commodity at this price — devised for robust projection. Up top, Sitka spruce lends rich articulation to each note, while the back and sides are crafted from sapele for a pervasively rich, warm tone. Other notables, like a dovetail neck joint, ebony fingerboard, and bone nut, contribute to an incredibly satisfying acoustic playing experience. Lastly, the inclusion of Fishman Sonitone electronics ensures you're ready to plug in for rehearsal, gigs, or studio time!

Fine Eastman craftsmanship, front and center

Whether you opt for a fingerstyle approach or intricate chordal work, it’s easy to find your footing on the AC122-1CE’s fretboard. The grand auditorium body ensures proper projection from its Sitka spruce top and sapele body. The dovetail neck joint further aids with vibrational transfer from the strings to the mahogany neck to the body. Not to mention, this mahogany neck sports a Traditional Even “C” shape for undeniable comfort whenever the guitar is in your hands, while the cutaway ensures optimum access to all of the Jescar frets. Plus, hand-scalloped X-bracing bolsters the resonance of this guitar, keeping the spruce top strong and balanced throughout its life.

Eastman Guitars: thinking inside the box

Many know the Eastman Music Company as a trusted name in the realm of band and orchestra instruments. Fortunately for all guitar lovers, Eastman Guitars has attained a similar stature with its steadfast dedication to the guitar-building process. Similar to how Sweetwater got its start, Eastman founder Qian Ni grew his business from its humble origins in the back of his car to its status as a burgeoning, reputable company. True to Ni’s vision, Eastman Guitars meticulously approaches each instrument, backing them with a lifetime warranty. From hand-scalloped bracing to fine tonewoods to precision tap tuning, an Eastman guitar is a feature-rich instrument that will grow with you musically for years to come!

Such a great guitar! Eastman does it right!

I don't know what I was expecting with this guitar, but it said it was all solid wood construction with a bone nut and saddle, which for this price is crazy! Solid Sapele back and sides with a solid sitka spruce top and ebony fretboard. Wow. I had the truss rod adjusted and man, it plays as well as my Taylor and sounds great! I'm also going to put in a new pickup, probably the LR Baggs HiFi because the one it comes with isn't very good, but it's ok for now. Just a great value and a very nice guitar. Great for regular gigging.
